“Good picture, lousy stand” 2010-10-24
By Ronald E. Hart (Oregon)
The good part is that the picture is good, which is what its all about I suppose. The assembly instruction sheet is above average.
The bad part is that the stand is flimsy, which results in the TV being unstable. If you live in the So. California quake zone, avoid this TV.
The speakers are poor quality. I don’t know what the frequency range is, but it can’t be good.
I registered the TV online, and it was a pain. They said my nickname was too short (required)! When I made it longer, they said no good, someone else already has it. Blah blah.
Not recommended, considering the cost.

“Great LCD TV for a great price” 2010-10-22
By Jeremy
Pros:

+ Very good picture quality, color accuracy for the price
+ Stylish, good looking TV
+ Low power consumption (lower electricity bills depending on your previous TV’s power consumption)
+ Wide array of picture setting options which help optimize picture quality to your liking
+ USB connectivity a plus for viewing/listening to content on portable storage devices. Interface is not bad either although I don’t really use this feature.

Cons:

– Picture quality not as great if you are viewing from an angle. This is common of CCFL LCD panels v. LED, and is to be expected.
– TV speakers have mediocre sound quality at best, a non-issue though if you are using external speakers.

Overall very good TV for the money. The only fault I could find performance-wise is that perceived picture quality deteriorated fast as you view from an angle, but it is still very watchable. This is more a limitation of the technology at the time, and again, at this price point I really can’t complain.

Highly recommended this set! Hope this review helps.

“Does not function” 2010-10-09
By G. Wyatt (Portland, OR USA)
No picture at all appears, although there is sound. The set appears to have been delivered broken. Thanks a lot, Amazon.

“Great buy” 2010-09-26
By Judith Satterthwaite (Rochester, Michigan)
The TV was received quickly and very easy to assemble. Our only complaint…and this was our own fault…was that we had thought the screen would be substantially larger than our old TV. If we had sketched out the measurements beforehand we would probably have gotten a larger screen size. We like the less bulky profile and the picture quality is great. Sound is okay as we are not as particular about that. Someday we may get a larger screen and add extra speakers, but this was a super buy for us.

“Samsung 32″ TV” 2010-09-25
By Lee R. Morgan (Chagrin Falls, OH)
The TV is excellent. It’s much better than the TV it replaced. The picture clarity is remarkable. Even my wife and kids remarked about it. That’s no small thing.
